Charlotte Siems‘ Session: How to Make Time For Fitness
A busy woman gets caught up in the daily to-do’s of managing life and home and she ends up neglecting herself in the process. Time passes and before she knows it, she is overweight, stressed-out and exhausted. The thought of spending hours at the gym or buying special foods for a diet program only causes more stress, leading to a feeling of hopelessness about her body. What’s a woman to do?
Join Charlotte Siems as she gives her amazing testimony about how she lost 110 pounds, 9 sizes and more than 140” over a year and a half while managing a busy household. She has 12 children and when she began her journey, eight of those children were still at home, with the youngest only one year old. Charlotte will share her inspiring story about how she went from a tired size 22W to an energetic size 6 and has maintained her size for years. She later went on to become a fitness trainer for the T-Tapp workout system, which she says is proof that God has a sense of humor as she is not an athletic type. She will share how she found time for fitness, what she did, and how YOU can do it, too!

Body image is such a mental game that we all get wrapped up in. We always ask ourselves are we pretty enough. Or we try to figure out what we can change to make us feel better about ourselves. We always want what we can’t have. If we had Jennifer Aniston’s hair, Angelina Jolie’s lips, Halle Barry’s body, Jennifer Lopez’s bottom and Sarah Jessica Parker’s closet would we finally be happy??
What if you all the sudden lost a limb or were wheelchair bound, and you could never look “normal” again. What if everyone stared at you all the time because you were different. There are some people that can never change certain things about their appearance.
But what if we realized that we don’t need the media to tell us how we need to look to be happy. What if we finally embraced they way that God made us. Crazy concept, I know. But maybe it’s the key to true joy.
