Leah Adams describes herself as the ‘prodigal son’s sister’. Although she grew up in church and accepted Jesus at the age of 15, she wandered away from the Lord in her mid twenties. After many years of living only to please herself, Leah felt the Lord wooing her back and over time He birthed in her a deep and burning desire to study and teach His Word.
Helping others understand the grace that is offered by Jesus to anyone who will accept it is the passion of Leah’s heart. In a works-based and failure-prone society, grace is a concept that many people have difficulty grasping. In a humble, yet authoritative way, Leah makes the Bible come alive and encourages her listeners to develop and nurture a relationship with Jesus Christ through studying the Bible, God’s love letter to humanity, and spending time in conversation with Him.
Leah and her husband, Greg, live in Blairsville, Georgia where Leah teaches a ladies’ Sunday school class and serves on the Long Range Planning Committee at First Baptist Church. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer College of Pharmacy and in her professional life, Leah has lectured to hundreds of physicians and medical personnel on the appropriate use of medications to lower cholesterol.
Quotes about Leah’s teaching and speaking:
“Leah is an entertaining, anointed, and gifted communicator of the Word of God. Her transparency and humility are refreshing and they cut through pretense and the facades of her hearers. Leah is real!! God has called and anointed her for His purpose to share His grace and mercy, His love and power to a generation of ladies that long for such intimacy with Christ.” Dr. Fred Lodge, Senior Pastor
