During the conference you will have the pleasure of hearing the voices behind some of the blog personalities that you have grown to love. Our hostesses are responsible for introducing our amazing line-up of speakers, directing you to our sponsors, and reaching out to the Lord in prayer just prior to the start of all the sessions. Each conference brings with it a different line-up of hostesses and we’re excited to present to you the ladies who will be hosting this conference.

Conference Hostess

HOSTESSabaylissJoining you from the heart of Cajun Country, Amy is a 30-something, Christian, homeschooling mom to three amazing little men and she has one more on the way. She is blissfully married to her best friend, Ryan. They reside in the heart of Louisiana where they worship and serve under Healing Place Church, the birthplace of Servolution. When she is not writing or designing something, she loves to travel, cook, and read.

A self-proclaimed small appliance junkie, Amy’s has a passion to see women set free from the bondage that holds them captive. Her life experiences have prepared her for such a time as this. As a speaker and writer, she hits home with her thought provoking, eye opening, and sometimes emotional way of communicating to capture the hearts and hands of her audience. She has a desire to see the hand of God in everything, to always be aware of His presence, and to love and live life to the fullest. She believes that is possible to have it all and you are only required to pursue one thing…. a true, deep, and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. This ministry is motivated by Amy’s heart to serve and minister to all of God’s girls.

You can find her passionate pursuits by visiting Inspired Hearts Media, Internet Cafe Devotions, and her personal website: AmyBayliss.com.

Session Hostesses

HOSTESSamydeanneAmydeanne is a thirty-something sleep deprived woman who strives to live her life to the fullest as a Christian, wife, mother of 4 beautiful children on earth, and 3 in heaven, & 2 dogs and asix-toed cat!  She is an artist, and somewhat jack of all trades.  Moreso, Amydeanne is a struggling Christian, who is trying to get over the fact that she lives in an imperfect world.

She has been a website designer/photographer for many years (worked/played on/at designing bbs’s in the ’80’s before the internet was popular.) She has been working on her own Christian photography for about 7 years now and previously worked as an internet marketer and graphic artist before becoming a parent.  People will recognize her blog www.the160acrewoods.com for Word Filled Wednesday (or WFW for short).  It will be starting it’s 4th year!  Amydeanne has been truly blessed by having the opportunity to continue it’s ministry to Glorify God.  As well as WFW, you’ll always find her with lots of books around the house (too many she is quick to admit!), and thus a lot of her blog is reviewing Christian (and a few non-Christian) reads.

Her newest conquest will be homeschooling her children in the fall!

kathryn langKathryn Lang was born Mary Kathryn Cranford in Guntersville, Alabama, on January 26, 1970. She met her first love (who would later become her husband) at the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1982.  She stalked him for several years before finally getting a date.  That was the beginning of many dates, break ups, hating, loving, a long turn at friendship before marrying on December 31, 1993.

Possibility thinking and positive point of view have been a part of Kathryn’s life for most of her life.  Couple a sunny disposition with a peculiar attitude and pour that into a small town and it is not surprise that people talked.  Kathryn strives to get people talking now.  It has only been in the last few years that she has taken that good, positive and uplifting attitude and her peculiar slant and used it to pursue her purpose in this life.

Today, Kathryn lives and works at home with her three homeschooled children (all boys – ages 12, 10 and 3) and her husband who also works from home.  They live in a little cabin in the woods on a small patch of land.  It is the place that she always had in her dreams and now her dreams are becoming a reality.

You can find Kathryn on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

brandi mitchell

Brandi Mitchell somehow manages to fit 26 to 28 hours into a 24 hour day.  She is a mom who loves her 4 awesome kids, all under the age of 10; 2 of which are homeschooled. She is married to Tom, they currently live in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Brandi loves the Lord, serves like a crazy woman at the best church in the entire world, Family Church; many have tried to convince her otherwise, but she has yet to change her mind.  She strives to be a Proverbs 31 woman, wife, and mother; and show a light to a dying world. In her free time Brandi loves to sew, scrapbook, and make hair bows.

She also blogs at Life With 4 Little Monsters.

JulieOne of Julie’s greatest joys is opening God’s Word and unfolding truth to impact life. It’s been her path to purpose and peace, so encouraging other women in their journey is her passion.

Julie lives in Tennessee with her best friend and hubby of 20 yrs, Jeff, their two teens, and an ever changing assortment of critters. They both serve on staff at West Park Baptist Church and still can’t believe they live so far south. At home you might find her clipping herbs in her garden, working on a women’s event, searching for a verse, or writing a poem with a coffee cup nearby. They’ve served in the US and overseas through pastoral and missions ministries, so part of her heart is always in a suitcase and eager to be with people around the globe.

After wearing the shoes of teacher, leader, writer, and speaker, she’s confident that following God is an adventure and a privilege. Whether seated on café chairs, bamboo benches, couches, floors, or stools, Julie has found that women in every place and nation seek peace from knowing the God who loves them. It gives her goose bumps to teach His Word and illustrate it from everyday life. Julie has written Bible curriculum as well as features for magazines like the Proverbs 31Woman, the Message Magazine, the Baptist Bulletin, and a variety of online publications like: the Internet Café, Sanctified Together, and Everyday Life. Join her every Monday for Marriage Mondays at her blog: www.comehaveapeace.blogspot.com.

Lisa

Lisa Lewis has been an educator since she was 5 years old when her dolls and bears were her students. She became a public school teacher at the age of 23, married at 26, a parent of one son 5 years later. Then came the twist in the smooth road; her husband decided he was done with marriage. Along the twisty road fell in love with a younger man, yet wiser man, who loved her son too! She thought she’d try the marriage thing again and this time it’s stuck! Married 19 years and with one additional son, this family of four has homeschooled and traveled together through the years.

Music, books, a quirky sense of humor, love and the Lord have been foundational in their home.
