When you’re just starting out, it can be hard to imagine anyone actually paying you to speak. You feel like you’re just getting your feet wet, and even if you’re very professional in other areas of your life, how can you act professionally in something that most people think is a little bit crazy? Why would you want to be a speaker? What do you have to offer that’s so great? We’ll learn how to get past that initial fear and insecurity and set realistic goals, based on what you think God is calling you to. We’ll talk about how to balance that idea of calling and ministry with business, and I’ll explain how it’s difficult for a ministry to grow if it doesn’t develop good business practices. And we’ll deal with some of the most pressing questions new speakers have.		 2

In the early years of his reign, Hezekiah was described as a man who followed hard after God. II Kings 18:5-6 says, “Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the LORD and did not cease to follow him; he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses.” (NIV) In this study we will be taking a closer look at this king who trusted God. We will see that, even though he sought God and trusted Him, he still made mistakes.		 3 4

Keeping consistent in our roles while we live out daily physical, social, and emotional changes is a real life experience.
