Genikwa Williams
A born-again believer, worshiper, and servant of the Most High God, Genikwa R. Williams accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 10 and rededicated her life to the Lord in late 1999.
Professionally, Genikwa is a Christian writer and communications specialist with nearly 15 years of experience. She holds a master’s degree in communication and information studies and a bachelor’s degree in English and has worked in a variety of communications-related roles, including newspaper “beat reporter,” public relations associate, communications manager, and jingle writer.
Genikwa is passionate about promoting the Gospel and the Christian community. In January 2008, Genikwa’s passion led her to establish Jordan Media Group—a public relations and marketing communications firm—so that she could use her God-given skills and corporate work experience to help churches, ministries, and other Christian businesses and professionals promote their own worthy works and advance the Kingdom of God.
The Lord has also blessed and gifted Genikwa to use her writing to lead sinners to Christ and encourage believers to walk more closely with Him. She is currently the Editor of The Christian Observer, a monthly Christian newspaper in New Jersey and vicinity, and author of Everyday Repartee, a Christian inspirational and devotional blog.
A member of Faith Deliverance Worship Center, Inc., in Burlington, N.J. since November 2007, Genikwa serves on the Mass Choir, in the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, and leads the church’s newly developed Communications Team.
Genikwa is also part of The Abigail Ministry and the music ministry of Min. William D. Carter, III, both in Burlington, N.J.
At her previous church, Genikwa also served on several choirs, as a choir director, an assistant Sunday school teacher, a member of both the praise-and-worship team and the praise dance ministry. She was also an active member of the church singles’ ministry, where she was secretary, publicity coordinator, and an occasional teacher of the Word.
A strong believer in personal evangelism, Genikwa is a bold witness for Christ and encourages others to spread the Truth, so that sinners will come to Jesus, live for Him, and hasten the Lord’s return.
Genikwa resides in Willingboro, N.J. with her family—her mom, two younger adult sisters, and her six-year-old niece—and jokingly refers to herself as their “live-in maid.” She enjoys singing, writing, watching movies and playing board games with her family, reading and learning about new things, and washing dishes, particularly when someone else does the cooking.

Touching Lives Online: The Power of Social Media to Minister
Can God work through the Internet to comfort, encourage, heal, and save lost souls? If He can make a donkey talk and raise people from the dead, then He most certainly can! God has commanded believers to make disciples of people throughout the world and to share His love with everyone they encounter. And the Internet is one way to make that happen. In this workshop, we will explore the genuine impact of online ministry that is facilitated through social media, such as networking sites and blogs. We will discuss:
- Real-life stories that demonstrate how online ministry has touched people’s lives
- The Great Commission and the Internet
- Various social media and the opportunities they offer for ministry
- Pointers, pitfalls and possibilities of online ministry
My prayer is that participants will leave this session encouraged, empowered, and equipped to make full proof of their (online) ministry to the glory and honor of God.
