The Amies

the-amies3

Amy Bayliss and Amy Stults are the team known as “The Amies.”

Though their friendship only began about three years ago when they began corresponding online, God began planting seeds for their ministry long before. Through heart to heart chats and a collaborated effort, they began to walk out the plans God laid before them. First with a fast growing parenting and home education website and blog (Heart of the Matter Online), then with an online homeschool conference. To follow that would be a series of online conferences for Christian women and now, online small groups that will minister to hundreds on a weekly basis.

Both of The Amies started out in forums and groups then graduated to simple blogs. That led to them becoming regular writers for more popular blogs. Amy Bayliss is now the co-owner, along with Lori MacMath, of one of those sites – Internet Cafe Devotions.

The path has not been easy but it has been very fruitful. The Amies have learned a thing or two and have a passion to teach other women to do the same. There is no competition in ministry. We are all on the same team and the more we have, the more we can reach – together.

Join Amy and Amy for a full question and answer session on operating a successful online ministry. For the best results, email your questions to: info@awomaninspiredconference.org so that The Amies have ample time to put together links and materials to aid in answering your questions.

Ministry: Online Conference

Do you want to know how to begin and succeed in online ministry?

Join us June 8th – 11th!

Modern technology has opened up new doors of opportunity for ministry. Women who were once confined to space and time due to duties at home can now finish their tasks and sit down to a whole new mission field; one that knows no limits. It is the Internet.

How do you begin? What should your boundaries be? Must I Twitter and Facebook? If so then what are the advantages. Are these friendships that you are forming real or imagined? Do you need a blog? How can you branch out?

We have a team of ladies who are very educated in the ways of the internet and online ministry. They can show you how to begin, maintain, branch out, and even how to deal with adversity. This conference is for anyone who is ready to make a difference via the internet.

An online audio conference uses the Internet as a conference venue. What this means to you is that you will be able to access the conference from anywhere in the world using standard browser software which we provide. This software is compatible with all computers including Macs and it is provided by us, to you, with the cost of admission. All you need is a computer, internet connection, and speakers!

The conference will happen in real time but it will be recorded so if you can’t be there then you can still download the sessions to listen to at your convenience.

‘I Did It My Way’ Is Never the Best Way!!
Leah Adams began an online, email devotional ministry called The Point long before blogs, Twitter and Facebook were chic and en vogue. It was only when the Lord put an article about blogging in front of her while she was held captive on the elliptical trainer that she considered extending the ministry to a blog and beyond. Over the past few years, the Lord has taught Leah many lessons about ministry. Some of those lessons were learned from life’s classroom, while others came from spending time being disciplined in God’s woodshed. Join Leah as she shares about the spiritual, emotional and estrogen-laden lessons that she has learned.
